Something light and humorous for those of you slogging away at your desks this week, who can’t wait for the weekend to kick its arse into gear and arrive already!

For those of you who dont know, I trawl the net every week for a funny video for my feature Jono’s Vid of the Week on the UCT Radio 104.5fm website. I came across this video last year, and it has to be one of my favourites, so I thought I’d share it here with you too.
Just a bit of history: It stars Nik Rabinowitz (blondie) and Bruce Little (redhead) and is directed by Fred Abrahamse. It was a one minute pilot for cinema; however, the film company turned it down.
BY THE WAY… Whatever you do, go and check out Nik‘s latest stand-up show, featuring Tats Nkonzo, Stand and Deliver, currently showing at the Baxter Theatre Centre until 14 January 2011! [Click here for more info, or here to book online via Computicket]
It seems like forever since I last updated you my dear blog.

In fact it is so nice to be able to sit down with a cuppa coffee at hand, and be able to focus on you a little bit.

I applied for a job today, in digital marketing. the job actually requires one to be cool with content management. Maybe that’s what’s urged me back to my blog? Making a good impression on the people I hope will hire me. If you are from the digital agency I applied to, I greet you with the global greeting, ‘Hello’, and I hope that this has made a good impression… If not, I’m sure it’ll be a lasting one (or that’s what I hope!).

Anyways, I’m ready to set this little blog alite again! It’s a new year, so let’s kick this year into gear one time!

Oh yeah, and dear readers, please pray, meditate, do a dance around a fire, walk around the labyrinth, speak to the stars, whisper to the library books, or whatever you do to contact your higher being, and please ask that I get the job. Thanks.

A few weeks a go I did an interview with South African actor and theatre legend; the man behind South Africa’s most loved white woman, Tannie Evita Bezuidenhout, the one and only Pieter Dirk-Uys, at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town.
The video interview was an exclusive for the Drama King speaks… (for those of you who don’t know -a weekly theatre listing feature I do for design showcase website, Between 10and5).
In case you missed it, here it is for your watching pleasure…
Well, it has been a while since the last Cookie Monster Monday, so here’s to having this feature back!

Have an awesome week folks!
Don’t let life get you down… Rather, if you’re feeling blue, chow a cookie -it’s good for you! [My rhyming skills are not too shabby -even if I do say so myself!]

My dearest friend,
For some reason, or other, it seems that our friendship has become distanced. I don’t know if it is me, who has become more highly sensitized to the world around me; if you’re giving me a cold shoulder; or if everything is as it was, and I can’t see it.
